Can I order a book you don't have in stock?
Yes. Ask in any branch or send us the title or ISBN. Most special orders arrive within one to two weeks, and we'll SMS you when yours is in.
Can you fill my child's whole school book list?
Yes. Send the list to any branch, by WhatsApp or through our website. We'll tell you what we have, suggest alternatives for anything out of stock, and pack it for collection or delivery.
Do you sell second-hand books?
We buy back and resell selected course books in good condition at the start of each year. Ask at your nearest branch.
Delivery & pickup
How much is delivery?
From KES 150 in Nairobi CBD to KES 650 anywhere else in Kenya by G4S. Orders over KES 5,000 are delivered free. See Delivery & pickup for the full table.
How do I know when my order is ready?
We SMS you when it's being prepared, when it's ready to collect or out for delivery, and when it's done. You can also follow it from the link in your order confirmation.
How long do you keep a pickup order?
Seven days. After that we'll call you before putting the books back on the shelf.
Payment
How can I pay?
In our shops: cash, M-Pesa (Till number at each branch), card, or bank transfer for school accounts. Online: M-Pesa or card, or pay when you collect.
My M-Pesa payment went through but the website says unpaid.
It usually updates within a minute. If it doesn't, call the branch with your M-Pesa code and we'll match it to your order.
Do you offer school or company accounts?
Yes, with invoicing and 30-day terms for approved schools, libraries and companies. Contact our schools desk.
Returns
Can I return a book?
Yes, within 14 days if it's unused and you have the receipt or order number. Course books can be exchanged for the right edition until the end of the first month of term.
Promotions
Can I use more than one discount code?
One code per order. Automatic offers like sale prices and buy 2 get 1 free apply on top, and the website shows you exactly what you're saving before you pay.
Do online offers apply in the shops?
Most do, but some are online only. Each offer says where it applies.
